Github Desktop
In the previous lesson, we learned about GitHub and set up your profile.
However, your analysis is currently stored on your computer. So, how do we transfer it to the cloud? The solution is called GitHub Desktop.
😢 The problem
Your work is currently stored locally on your computer, but we need to replicate it on the cloud, specifically on GitHub.
In broader terms, we require a method to manage the flow of changes that may occur on either side, ensuring that both versions remain synchronized.
😀 The solution: Github Desktop
To accomplish this task, we'll be using GitHub Desktop.
GitHub Desktop is an application that connects GitHub with your computer. It's designed with a user-friendly interface, making it an excellent option for beginners.
→ Everything done with Github Desktop could be done with the command line.
→ R Studio also offers a user interface for those tasks.
